In addition to my sculptures, I also devote some time to small paintings as well as drawings. Since I've always been a bit of a rock hound, I've combined my love of creating art work with my love of beautiful rocks and the result is oil paintings on slices of rock. My favorite species of rocks to paint on are Brazilian Agate, Limbcast, Obsidian, Petrified Wood, Carnelian and several others.
I choose rocks that will enhance my subject and will leave the background to the natural design of the rock. I often do commission work, mostly pet portraits, but my wildlife paintings are also popular.
